Redressal of Grievances / Appeals of Sreenidhi University Students

Students Grievances Redressal Committee (SGRC) is an important committee of Sreenidhi University. The establishment of SGRC emphasizes the commitment of Sreenidhi University to the student’s welfare, transparency and accountability. SGRC serves as a channel for the students to express their Concerns, Complaints and Grievances etc., SGRC is responsible for receiving the grievances from the students related to Academics, Administration or Personal matters and ensures that the complaints are processed promptly and fairly. All the grievances are processed as per the UGC regulations. Students can E-mail their grievances to: studentgrievances@suh.edu.in

Procedure for Redressal of Grievances by the SGRC

1.  Any aggrieved student may submit an online or offline application seeking redressal of grievance to the Student Grievance Redressal Committee.
2. On receipt of complaint, the Chairperson of the SGRC may refer to the appropriate Committee if required, along with the comments.
3. Students Grievances Redressal Committee, as the case may be, shall fix a date for hearing the complaint which shall be communicated to the aggrieved student.
4. An aggrieved student shall appear either in person or authorize a representative to present the case.
5. In case the grievance is not able to be resolved by the SGRC, then the such a case may be referred to the Ombudsman by the University.
6. The Ombudsman shall, after giving reasonable opportunities of being heard to the parties concerned, on the conclusion of proceedings, pass such order, with reasons thereof, as may be deemed fit to redress the grievance and provide such relief as may be appropriate to the aggrieved student.
7. The Ombudsman may recommend appropriate action against the complainant, where a complaint is found to be false or frivolous.

The Ombudsman shall hear the grievances / appeals from an aggrieved student, only after the student has availed all other remedies provided by the SGRC. Details of the Ombudsman is as follows.
